Shoes We Heart: Michael Lewis

I have only word to say about these heels: WOW. The shoe designs of Michael Lewis leave me breathless. If you don’t know the name of British designer Michael Lewis yet, you will soon: promise. These shoes are true artwork and meant to be rocked with a dress because you’ve got to see these heels – a bit edgy and unmistakably beautiful. If you want to own a statement shoe, ML is it. Kelly Rowland is a fan, as well as Elle McPherson who sent a handwritten note to the designer, leading us to believe we might see these shoes on a future episode of the upcoming reality show, Fashion Star (we’ll be watching, for sure!).

The fall collection includes the four shoes just below. The cut-outs, the texture, the straps and the laces – I heart them all. So, where did ML learn his talent? Well, he’s got quite the impressive background, including stints at Gucci alongside Tom Ford (um, pretty amazing, no?), Marc Jacobs while at Louis Vuitton and Christopher Bailey at Burberry. His shoes have been featured everywhere from Marie Claire to InStyle and Vogue. Next major feature? My feet, hello. See you at Saks…
