Whiny Wednesday: A Do-Good Necklace
Mother’s Day is quickly approaching and this House of Harlow 1960 necklace is at the top of my list. Besides loving the gorgeous green hue (it’s my fav color, and did you know it symbolizes hope and growth?) and the chic pyramid design, this limited-edition stunner was designed by creative director Nicole Richie to benefit Baby2Baby.
In case you aren’t familiar, it’s a charity that supplies Los Angeles families in need with essential baby gear and clothing. Baby2Baby provides new and gently used items for children up to 12 years old and reaches over 50,000 families each year. Holy WOW. That’s pretty amazing, right?
“We take the basic necessities for granted, but for many families, it’s a serious struggle. This is one way to ease the financial burden, and help new babies have a good start in life.” — Nicole Richie, creative director, House of Harlow 1960
The (extremely versatile and timeless) necklace is now available at revolveclothing.com and glamhouse.com for just $75 – and 20-percent of the proceeds will be donated to Baby2Baby.
