Updated logo. New color palette. Crisper images with better zoom capacity…and just all around easier for customers to use and shop. ideeli.com, recently acquired by Groupon, unveiled its newly designed website this week. Craving pastels and things that bloom instead of melt, I ducked out of the cold and into ideeli’s headquarters at the New York Times Building to check out the new look and take a sneak peek at all the latest fashion, apparel and home decor trends you can expect for Spring 2014.
When you log onto ideeli, you’re sure to find usual fresh trends at discount prices and a teaming up with major new brands like Rachel Zoe, and vintage finds like Chanel…and because we still expect plenty of April showers in the weeks ahea, they’ve still got a pretty good deal going on with Hunter. I was pretty impressed with what we hopefully won’t be splashing around in…lots of great wedges, pumps from Anne Klein and heels from Derek Lam. Note…Derek Lam heels are for puddle-free days only.
Trends this season include brights, Americana, floral/tropical, safari, artful global, and “the new sexy”. Nope, “the new sexy” isn’t Miley on a wrecking ball or simulating something worse than an Akon concert on stage (thank God). It’s a mixture of real and faux leather, lace, and Herve-inspired undergarments. Far more tasteful than a foam finger.
