Whiny Wednesday: Hoodie Loving
Jessica Alba’s always so laidback “mom chic” – she recently wore the simplest hoodie and racerback tank toting a pretty adorable accessory on her hip, too (her kiddos are presh). The zip hoodie in camel leopard is from Current/Elliott and the racerback mesh tank is by Michael Stars. I’ve gotta spill on my love for both of these brands. Microphone, please.
I own at least three pairs of C/E jeans, and love the fit, so now I’m ready to explore tops and other things from the line. Err, like this hoodie? YES. Next blog…hoodies and heels? Ok, maybe not, but still, I do love my hoodies and the leopard is such a nice touch to an otherwise athletic piece of apparel. It doesn’t really look like it should be confined to the gym in this case (although if her sleeves are rolled up in LaLa Land, there’s no way I could pull it off at this moment down south without a heat stroke….September, maybe?).
Then you have Michael Stars who makes (most) everything one size fits all, and you just can’t beat the options. They’re basics, but with such an amazing spin. (Did you see my caftan post earlier today?) I actually own this tank in the non-mesh version and it’s the most flattering thing. Tank tops can be tricky to pull off, but this one is forgiving just enough in the tummy area, and the soft, lightweight fabric is heaven. I’d work out in the tank (ok, fine, already did…), but would wear it as a shell under something a la Alba or alone with shorts this summer. So versatile! The key to shopping Michael Stars is figuring out your best colors and cuts and you’ve got it made. You’ll be able to wear these pieces forever. Trust.

My sister loves the way these shirts feel and fit. They are very well made and plan on getting more in the future. I definitely recommend http://www.apparelnbags.com/athleticwear.htm
