2012 might not have impressed me in some areas, but makeup? I rediscovered myself! This past year, I completely rediscovered my makeup routine…and I don’t know how I ever made it without Jill Kirsh Color (Hollywood’s Guru of Hue). She literally changed my LIFE. When I began using the goodies she sent me, I started with the gloss – that was life-changing in itself. I’m never without it these days, and if there is one thing I apply to go check the mail or run an errand, it’s this. Soon enough, I incorporated her On the Go Mini Kit and quickly fell in love with the two blush shades. I now believe these hues are MY hues and I’ll never be without them. I do have some other brands on my counter (duh, I blog about beauty), but these JK shades are my go-to because nothing really works for me like these. And trust, having red hair (um, well, with lots of blonde these days) makes finding the proper blush nearly impossible.
The last month or so, I started using the eye shades – since I loved the lips and cheeks, why not try the eyes! These are pretty great when you’re going for a very subtle, all-around pretty look. Jill Kirsh has worked with lots of celebrities and major magazines like InStyle regularly feature her work. Not to mention, she really gets to know her clients (heck, she personally sent me a gloss refill at my New York hotel this fall!). I must admit, I love it when I wear something and she tells me “that’s so your hue!” (she said that about my photo above, by the way…just saying…)
So with the new year, it’s time for a new you, right? And that means new hues. Jill Kirsh Color wants to give I Heart Heels readers a chance to win both her famous (can’t-live-without) Swatch Book and an On-the-Go Mini Kit! (retail value: $100) Enter in the box below and we’ll choose one winner at random next Thursday…best of luck. This is going to be one lucky winner.
P.S. In the photo above, I’m wearing both Jill’s blush and lip gloss.
