Kerry Washington Gorgeous at Golden Globes
Ok, fair enough. I did forget to shout out Kerry Washington’s super pretty Miu Miu dress in my previous post…I loved the sparkles (who can resist a sparkly Miu, Miu, anyway?) and the shorter length. What I also couldn’t take my eyes off of were her new bangs and sleek ‘do, along with her gorgeous makeup. Lancome has certainly outdone themselves so far this award season, yes?
For hair, celebrity hairstylist Marcus Francis was inspired by Kerry’s sequined, structured gown. Luckily, I was sent the step-by-step guide, using products from John Frieda, so we can all create this look tomorrow! (Frizz-Ease is certainly some amazing stuff!)
Step 1 –Prep
Spray Frizz-Ease 3-Day Straight Semi-Permanent Styling Spray ($9.99 at drugstores), throughout wet hair and comb through to distribute the product evenly.
Step 2 – Style
Blowdry hair straight. Take a flat iron and straighten hair section by section – the heat of flat iron will activate 3-Day Straight, to ensure sleek style that lasts all night long.
Step 3 – Perfect
Smooth Frizz-Ease Secret Weapon Flawless Finishing Crème ($5.99) throughout hair to give a smooth, shiny finish.
Makeup? Yes, please! Lancome makeup artist Carola Gonzalez used a bold, purple eye and muted lip to go along with those fabulous blunt bangs (that I wish I could pull of…they just didn’t work for me, ugh!).
