BB Cream. Everyone’s talking about it…everyone’s doing it. As I said a couple of weeks ago, I’ve been trying out the new L’Oreal Paris Youth Code BB Cream Illuminator. In one step, it’s touted to even, illuminate (love that word), perfect (um, love this), moisturize and correct (yes, please). I went to my local Target to find this drugstore beauty for $14.99, and the shelves were scarce. I told you everyone is talking about it.
Luckily, there were two left in the “light” shade I needed, and I happily brought it home with me (insert whistling). Did I mention the small box fit in my medium-sized handbag? This was a plus since I was also toting little C. around. So now, the reasons I wanted to use this in the first place? Obvi I’m a busy mom, so having something that acts as a foundation with all the attributes I mentioned above is pretty amazing…and it includes SPF 15, which I know is important to all of us. What I immediately noticed was the luminous quality after applying (and be careful, folks, you only need a small nickel-sized…or less…amount). I was used to wearing powder 24/7, so it felt nice for a change (because powder is the farthest thing from luminous).
After one week, my skin does seem somewhat smoother – although I’m always given the nickname “youthful one” anyway – wink. I haven’t yet been using the product for a full two weeks, but I hear even better things are to come. Diminished imperfections? Yes, please! Refined skin texture? Um, ok! The hint of color in this product is really just what I need since I hate the overdone “makeover.” In my opinion, most of us really need “makeunders.” This provides the right amount of coverage – and, duh, luminosity. Am I radiating in these photos?! Try it and tell me what you think!
Youth Code BB Cream Illuminator instantly evens, illuminates, perfects, moisturizes and protects skin. In one week, tone and texture are improved and skin is healthier looking.
