I gushed about how much I love Jean-Michel Cazabat‘s fall collection here, and I was lucky enough to go check out his spring line last week at his NYC flagship store! What’s better than getting to see first-hand the new shoes he has in store for spring? Getting personal style advice from the one-and-only style maven herself, Stacy London.

She picked out over a dozen of her favorite styles that she said every girl must have in her closet. From snakeskin pumps to yellow and blue colorblocked platforms, spring is all about showing off those fabulous shoes. Step aside statement bag, the statement shoe is hot this spring! Stacy also offered an explanation as to why she picked out each style of shoe. She said she started out with about five or six styles and just couldn’t leave some out, so she kept adding to her already fabulously curated selection.

Let me tell you, she’s so fun and personable – like the best friend every girl needs when shopping! At one point she took it upon herself to go get a pair of shoes for a customer! Guests were treated to champagne as they walked around to find the perfect pair of shoes for spring. Girlies, if you’ve read previous posts, you know I keep talking about wedges. Well, again, you need to add them to your collection. They’re THE shoe for spring/summer!
Styled just as fabulous as his shoe collection was Jean Michel. Wearing a hot-pink blazer, the designer walked around and talked to guests – and even signed shoe soles for some guests! EEK! How amazing is it to have the designer himself sign your new spring heels?!
