The Addison Story

Whhhhew! After all of that spring fashion goodness (while, oh-so-good!), you’re prob wondering where the heck is fall, Jules? Did we skip it? Nope, we’ve just begun, chicettes. With yesterday being my big 30TH birthday (gulp) and this week the official start of fall, it means it’s time to embrace those tights and booties and hop aboard the cold-weather train again. I hadn’t heard of the label The Addison Story (named after the designer Amy’s fav childhood doll, Addison) until it popped into my inbox the other day, and my eyes became pleasantly surprised.

So, what’s a fashion-peaked mind to do? I clicked and I clicked until I found the collection on fav site, Shopbop, and oh my! Hold that credit card…I’m in t-r-o-u-b-l-e. I love it all, especially the burnt orange for fall. There’s a bell sleeve blouse in silk crepe, folks. The drapiness, the fabric, the colors, the way everything can transfer from day to night in a snap. I love all of this about The Addison Story. It’s such a fun, contemporary line, I’m pretty sure I wanna be an Addison girl so freaking bad.
