Vintage Shopping with Stylist June Ambrose

Bond 07 by Selima in NoHo had a summer soiree, featuring one-of-a-kind amazing pieces by Catherine Malandrino, and the styling expertise of June Ambrose. Talk about a triple whammy! The Selima optique itself is an amazing paradise of fabulous frames coveted by the planet’s brightest stars, like Madonna and Bono. Surrounding those super spectacles? A well-curated selection of vintage items from heavy hitters like YSL, Hermes, Moschino and Gucci. As if that wasn’t enough to turn a poised fashionista into a kid in a candy shop, for the night’s event, Catherine Malandrino’s extensive collection of runway and red carpet pieces were on display and for a few lucky shoppers, heading to a new home. (For that you can swoon).
While some of the most well-dressed shoppers I have ever seen perused the collections and sipped on champagne, the fabulous stylist to the stars June A, was buzzing around like a ray of sunshine in her golden dress paired with, wait it for it…if you heart heels, you’ll heart her 7 1/2″ Christian Louboutin mary janes! Seriously, way to make motherhood look effortless. Her two children were there, including daughter Summer who sashayed around with her mom as they helped the ladies pick out their special piece of Malandrino – and her son Chance showed me some of the June Ambrose turban fabrics that were on display for the night. He even offered to pick out one that matched my outfit, double swoon. This event was entertaining, successful and chic on so many levels.
