T3 Featherweight Luxe: My New Hair Dryer
When it comes to hair dryers, my decision is important. About as important as choosing my shoes for the day (peep-toes or wedges or both? decisions!). Why? Because I inherited my mother’s incredibly thick hair, and I’ve taken it upon myself to grow it out long in time for Fashion Week. Meanwhile, our weather down south has decided to take a turn towards the 113-degree heat index and that has upped my hair dryer decision by one-thousand points. Let me say this. Once you use a T3, you will never go back. Simple!
I’ve been using my T3 Featherweight for nearly two years now. Yes, go ahead and say “omg,” because I couldn’t believe it, either! It just recently started dying a slow death on me and wasn’t quite as powerful, so I was completely psyched when I received a new sample of the T3 Featherweight Luxe. Just like the other model, drying time is drastically reduced (they claim by 70%!). This is obviously the main reason I love my T3 so much. The other reasons are how completely lightweight they are and how my hair always looks much more polished when I’m finished. And trust me, I don’t do anything different than I would otherwise (round brush, a little Frizz Ease and I’m good!). I haven’t tried the diffuser yet on my waves, but I certainly can’t wait to try it because it’s supposed to reduce frizz and define curls (so maybe they won’t be flimsy waves anymore!). Right now I just use what is called the “concentrator nozzle” on the end and it really works to dry my hair pretty fast.
All in all, I wouldn’t say I noticed a huge different in the Luxe and the previous Featherweight I was using, so if you have $50 you need to keep in your wallet, I recommend the Featherweight (the Luxe is $250). If you’re willing to shell out a few extra bucks though, the Luxe def doesn’t disappoint!
