Pamella Roland: Ombre is In
I just got back from a jog around the neighborhood, and boy it’s already getting hot! Can you believe it will be 80 degrees down south tomorrow?? It’s all peeptoes and flip-flops for the next several months for me, and also time to pull out all of the dresses. I LOVE dresses! Forget jeans, pants, capris, shorts, skirts – give me dresses, please! One of this spring’s trends, straight from the Pamella Roland collection, is Ombre (which means colors graduate from light to dark). Here are two of my fav looks from her collection (one cocktail/one red carpet-worthy) – a pink ombre silk organza floral embroidered dress and a poppy ombre silk wool one shoulder gown. Which do you like better? I think I would take either one! But, can’t you totally see Carrie Underwood in one of these?
P.S. Strap on nude heels like the model above and watch those legs get longer and longer!!
