Geek Chic with Pedro Garcia Oxfords
Ever had a pair of comfortable heels? Hmmm…us either! But, these brown leather “Maddie” oxfords worn by Maggie Gyllenhaal a couple of weeks ago are praised for their comfort and great craftsmanship. The Pedro Garcia family is a business of third-generation shoemakers (since 1925), after all! “Coveted by the confident woman” and worn by our fav celebs (Sarah Jessica and Penelope (who need no last names) are just a couple more). So, what do you think? Would you rock these? At first glance, I say no. But, then at second glance I say a thousand times yes! I’m such a nerd in my cardis and cashmere half the time, I think these are the perfect combo of both stylish and geek. Wear them with flowy dresses to balance the masculine with the femme or even a cute pair of jeans – maybe even a cardi? – xoxo

Now there's sturdy, classic-looking shoe that is sure to complement any formal or semi-formal outfit. I'd give these a try.
