Plump and Lift with Chanel
Chanel – ahhh. It’s the epitome of both fashion and beauty – I love my Chanel. While I’m still saving up for that quilted bag I long for (anyone wanna buy it for me??), I have been lucky enough to sample a few luxurious lip and eye products from the beauty line. (Thank you, Amy!)
I have to be honest, I haven’t had much sleep lately (baby C. is nearing one month old soon), and actually it’s taken me quite awhile to type this paragraph.) Needless to say, I was in desperate need of some miracle creams (plump and lift!) to turn my face around from those sleepless nights (I’ll prob be using these for several years!).
The Ultra Correction Lift line by Chanel is on counters this month, and it includes the Total Eye Lift ($100) and the Plumping Anti-Wrinkle, Lips and Contour ($85). Yes and yes! Both work wonderfully for that pesky droopiness we all tend to inherit as we age – sigh. These products restore hope that, yes, we can all look young again! And honestly I would rather pay for these creams and apply as needed morning/night than visit someone for surgery – ugh.
The texture on both creams is silky, soft. The eye cream decreases puffiness, dark circles and overall just tightens things up a bit (Max. lifting results? +3mm). According to test results, eyelids are “lifted” about 43%. Not bad, right? The lip cream plumps (+57%!), smoothes (+84%) and firms (+47%). Angelina Jolie, here we come. No more of those pesky smile lines, either. My lips are naturally thin (thanks, mom!), so this cream is indeed worth it. But, if you have to choose between one or the other, go with the eye cream. It can do no wrong!
P.S. Have to share. The other morning, I was so extremely tired, I tried to “lift” my eyes with the lip cream instead. Oopsie. I immediately scrubbed with a washcloth thinking “oh no! my eyes are going to be “plump” now!” [Laugh out loud.] Do not try this one at home. And if you have multiple Chanel bottles on the counter, please read the labels first. -xoxo

I loved your article – it was some great information. I think you and your readers might be interested in another article I found, about Dry Eyes.
