The Fight Against Aging
Ok, I know I’m only 27, but before I know it I’ll be 37 and then 47 and then 57 – with the blink of an eye! It’s ok, the first step is recognizing and I’m ok with getting older. But if I’m going to have to get older (sigh..), then I might as well help myself out in the process. I’ve resigned myself to realize I will never look like Cindy Crawford (can you believe in my teens I had actual hope?), nor will I inject myself with Botox like Nicole Kidman.
What I will do? Use the delightful array of miracle products out there now meant to moisturize and de-wrinkilize (yes I made up that word, like it?). Lately, I ‘ve been using Bliss products, and I am loooving The Youth As We Know It ($79). This is a complete dream cream for your face. Buttery smooth (and orange-hued!), it smells nice and feels so good to the touch. Really, I get hooked on creams like this that feel good on your fingers – so soft and velvety. So far from using, I’ve noticed a decrease in the puffiness under my eyes in the mornings (even on Mondays, and I absolutely HATE that day!), and my neck feels really smooth and healthy (that’s thanks to the active Vitamin A!). And while of course I can’t notice a reduction wrinkles because I don’t really have them yet, I am confident this cream will help keep it that way. As they say in the Godfather – fight, fight to the death! Here’s to another 10 years of “youthful bliss.”
RecessionistaTip: Invest in a good moisturizer like this and you won’t be disappointed. It’s quality, well worth it and will last you forever! Get it at Bliss spas, BlissWorld.com, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sephora, Macy’s West and select Douglas stores.
