Coco Rocha in White House Black Market Fall Campaign
It’s getting soooo close to fall (and I’m about to go view next year’s spring collections in New York, go figure!). Fall is my fav season, not just because my birthday is the first day (remember this), but because I love the fashion and the coolness in the air (summers here are brutal). And no matter what the season may bring (fuschia! gold! oxblood!), you know black and white will always be around. And rightfully so – it’s downright chic.
The White House Black Market fall ad campaign features popular model Coco Rocha (met her at last year’s Lucky Magazine FABB Conference and she’s just as stunning in person…with a great personality!). In addition to the print ads above (and direct mail), she’ll also be seen in the TV commercials. (and yes, I want both pairs of those shoes shown here…my heart goes pitter patter!)
In the TV ads, Coco performs a carefully choreographed dance routine, demonstrating that being a great model can sometimes mean more than just striking a pose. For the spot, she perfected her moves with the help of Broadway choreographer Laurin Latarro. Featuring about 12 different head-to-toe looks in the 30-second spot, Coco becomes the tap dance equivalent of a quick change artist. It all plays out in the end with a surprise reveal. Hmmm…guess we’ll all just have to watch and see!
P.S. Here are the production credits:

Director – Matt Bieler with participation of Johan Renck
