Sneaker Wedges with Color!
I’m such a fan of my ASH sneaker wedges…you know. I consistently talk about them all. the. time. But to be honest, I never had been a fan of the Thelma style with all the buckles. Until now! Apparently, Brooke Burke-Charvet has been wearing her green canvas wedges everywhere. I mean, they’re kinda chic, right? I like them because they’re bright. It’s like adding a dose of color to your outfit with a great pair of bright pumps, which we do all the time. So, I’m loving the idea of adding a pop of color with bright sneaks this fall. (which, by the way, if you’ve been watching the spring runways, won’t be going away anytime soon.)
Besides a pair of distressed jeans (and a jean jacket that’s so on trend right now…I need and love), I picture these with a great dress. The DKNY runway today showed lots of breezy dresses, both maxi and shorter, paired with heeled sneakers and I love this aesthetic…sporty spice, if you will. A bonus on the Thelma is that they’re slightly less expensive than the Cool and other ASH styles – at $160. And I bet her chic feet are super comfy walking through the city…yet another bonus.
