Rose Byrne in Jill Stuart…plus, the Spring Ad Campaign!
I always think actress Rose Byrne looks stunning (and man, she killed it last awards season!), so to see her in a leather dress (in the season’s hottest oxblood hue, no less) from Jill Stuart, made my day. So amazing! Jill Stuart really does makes the pieces of clothing every girl wants to wear. It’s always one of my fav shows at fashion week for this reason…I’m literally picking out pieces I wanna hang in my closet! Um, and if money were no object, I certainly would…
This dress is from Jill’s fall 2012 collection, and I love it paired with pointy-toe pumps. Such an amazing fit, and really the fabric says it all. My fav thing about wearing leather is you can sort of calm everything else down and make a statement from the fabric alone! (actually the leather pants in my closet are itching to be worn again…love pairing them with a wispy top to balance the look)
And now moving on from fall/winter (I know, fashion moves in a blur, right?), I was just sent the brand-new spring ad campaign images for Jill Stuart, and this one here caught my eye the most (maybe the shoes? wink). The campaign is entirely black and white, so you know that’s def going to be huge this spring. And I can’t wait. Squealing, squealing, squealing…
